Shiso Wraps
Basic concept is to make a soy sauce based stir-fry with egg roll filling ingredients. Then serve on shiso leaves, wrap them up like you would a lettuce wrap and enjoy.
Ingredients I use include:
cabbage
carrots
onions
garlic
ground beef
peas (if in season)
soy sauce
hoisin or bean paste
shiso leaves
cilantro for topping

Sautee garlic and onions. Add beef and cook till brown with some soy sauce. Remove all from pan.

Next, sauté the vegetables until just tender. I do this with some bean paste and water.

Add beef mixture back into pan.

Spoon onto washed shiso leaves and serve.

Sprinkle with cilantro.
