Quick Spinach Dip


1 bag of spinach or desired amount

butter or oil to coat skillet

up to one 8 oz. package of cream cheese.

2 garlic cloves, minced.

salt to taste


1Soak spinach in water to wet the leaves then throw into skillet with small amount of oil or butter.

2 Cover and wilt spinach until it is cooked down.

3 Add the garlic and remove cover.

4 Drain thoroughly.

5 Add an appropriate amount of cream cheese to make it a creamy dip.

6 Salt to taste.

7 Cook over a low heat until heated through.

8 Serve hot with crackers.
