We are very honored this season to have made the final round of the Best of Madison for a CSA (veggie share) farm. Would you be willing to take a moment to vote for us? (Instructions below)

Some background….

Crossroads is entering its 20th season! We are VERY VERY proud of this. There are not that many local, organic farms that have been around as long as we have. The work is hard and the local food industry can be fickle… Currently, after a Covid peak, CSA is in a downslide in our area. Farms across the area are reporting shrinking numbers of members. We are not immune to this change in the market and are looking for ways to spread the word about our farm to new customers.

Our persistent high quality, large amount of food, teaching materials, commitment to food access, and our customization are some of the ways we have stayed in business as long as we have. We have a retention rate of about 75% from season to season, which is VERY high for our industry.

Another way we have stayed in business is through word of mouth from you all, our members! Social media isn’t our strong suit, so it has really been neighbors talking with neighbors that have brought new members our way! (Thank you!)

The opportunity to be a winner in the Best of Madison competition would be an awesome way to keep spreading the word about the awesome work we do.
