Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
2 onions, chopped
½ cup celeriac, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 medium head cabbage, cut up into manageable pieces
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
2 Add onion, celeriac, and saute for 3 to 5 minutes, or until translucent.
3 Stir in cabbage, reduce heat to low-medium, and simmer for 15 minutes, add chopped garlic.
4 Pour in tomatoes and season with salt and pepper to taste.
5 Cover pan and cook over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
