Basic concept is to make a soy sauce based stir-fry with egg roll filling ingredients. Then serve on shiso leaves, wrap them up like you would a lettuce wrap and enjoy.
Ingredients I use include:
peas (if in season)
hoisin or bean paste
cilantro for topping
1Sautee garlic and onions. Add beef and cook till brown with some soy sauce. Remove all from pan.
2Next, sauté the vegetables until just tender. I do this with some bean paste and water.
3Add beef mixture back into pan.
4Spoon onto washed shiso leaves and serve.
5Sprinkle with cilantro.
