OUR MISSION

Crossroads Community Farm, LLC is a 25 acre, certified organic vegetable farm specializing in diversified vegetable production. We run an 800 member customizable CSA, or veggie share, and also provide crops to grocery stores and restaurants through a small number of wholesale accounts. Our farm is focused both on high quality organic vegetable production and the continuing expansion of our social justice work, including: using sustainable/resilient growing practices, providing free vegetables to food apartheid neighborhoods through our Everyone Deserves Healthy Food program, farmer training through the state apprenticeship program, the collection of reparations fees to be redistributed to BIPOC farmers, and community connection through our farm blog and farm events.

We started this work as young, privileged, college-educated environmentalists who wanted to grow food in a way that nurtures both the bodies that consume it and the land that produces it. We continue to do this work both because of the life-giving food we grow, and because we are challenged to continually work toward justice in our own sphere of privilege.
