Gratitude for your Savvy: Fall #8 – 12/12/18

 In CSA Newsletter

For many of you, this week marks the end of a 6-month run of eating organic food grown on our farm. We thank you!!!

We know there are lots of ways to find local food. And organic food. But CSA remains one of the best ways to get local AND organic food. And we we thank you for choosing us.

For this newsletter I wanted to do some cheerleading about how local AND organic is the best food choice. To get some ideas, I went online to search for articles that talk about why local organic is better than non-local organic, and well there’s not much out there.

A plethora of articles exist trying to debate whether buying local OR organic is better.

But it seems many in the general public still think you have to make a choice between local and organic, not realizing that having both is entirely possible.

You all are already on board this savvy argument. And well we just wanted to say that you are awesome.

Thanks again for joining this local, organic food movement and supporting a different way to grow and source food that’s better for our bodies, our land, and our local economies. YOU are the change!

With gratitude,
Farmer Cassie
