Fall Party & Fall Shares: Summer Week #14 – 9/10/25

 In CSA Newsletter

Despite the cooler weather, we have several weeks to go with the summer share.

Having said that, I wanted to highlight a couple of things coming up at the end of the season.

Party Time!
Please mark your calendars for our annual barn party! We will have music and a taco truck on Saturday evening, October 4th. Specifics: a Madison favorite, Evan Murdock and the Imperfect Strangers will be playing for us. AND… Sabor Regio will be offering tacos, tamales, and other delicious delicacies for sale. YUM!
Party goes from 6-9pm. BYOB. Event is free. Tacos for purchase.

I absolutely love the barn party. We moved it back to October because I just love the cozy, cool nights of October. It’s so very fun to hang out with and dance in the barn together! It’s get dark and chilly outside where the kids are free ranging, and it’s bright and warm and fun inside the barn. If you have kiddos, this is an awesome event! There’s apple cider(free)and toys and other kids and it’s super fun for kids to run free and make party buddies.

Oh I just love this fun fun night and hope you’ll join us!

Fall Shares

Many of you have been asking about fall shares. You haven’t missed sign up! I will be getting everything ready for sign up within the next week and will surely let you know when it’s time.

What’s a fall share? You can keep the veggie goodness coming all the way into mid December! The fall share is an 8 week season structured just like our summer share. Regular members get one box per week (8 total) and every other members get one box every other (4 total).  Just like our summer share, we will pack you a customizable box with the veggie we have available. More leafy things show up in the earlier boxes, and then things get more root-y and storage-y as we get into colder times.

Potatoes (red, blue, russet, gold)
Sweet Potatoes

Radishes (daikon and beauty heart – pink and sweet!)

I will have everything updated and ready for you to register by next week (It is not ready yet). And I PROMISE I will send a link when it’s all ready 🙂 We sincerely hope to continue gracing your table through December!
