Don’t Play with the Stove: Veggie Share Week #2 – Wed, June 15

 In CSA Newsletter

My youngest daughter Juna wrote me some poems. (Love love that in general.)

Many of the poems are like what you’d expect from a 7 year-old writing poems.

Except one.

I am in love with this poem – the home cook in me finds it fantastic.

I’m including a photo of the original poem, so that you can see it with her writing and spelling. Then I’ll write the translation.

I hope you enjoy.

Don’t Play With the Stove by Juna Noltnerwyss

Don’t play with the stove
It could burn your hand off
Or start the house on fire
Or maybe just cook the best meal ever.

Sincerely,
Farmer Cassie
